Round with pierced & molded foliated scroll shaped edge & rim around hand painted landscape center views of the English Lake District. One captioned on the back in red Derwent Water which is in the administrative county of Cumbria, historic county of Cumberland, England, in the Lake District National Park. The view is after the steel engraving (or its source), entitled Le Lac de Dervent dans le Cumberland, published in a volume of L'Univers Pittoresque , Paris, 1842 approx 9.5 x 14 cm.

The other plate has a complimentary view with the village in the distance & a horse & cattle wading under the trees. No back-stamps other than the Derwent Water title.
